Malin Andersson

Dr. Malin Andersson is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Service Studies at Lund University, specializing in tourism development and service innovation. Her research examines economic transitions in traditional industries like fisheries through qualitative and discourse analysis methods.

Recent projects investigate convention bureau communication strategies (2025) and livelihood diversification among Swedish coastal fishers (2024). She coordinates the 'Green Services and Value-Creating Water' initiative and contributes to sustainable tourism research.

Honors include Årets Ciceron award for tourism industry communication and multiple research stipends. She actively mentors students in service management and sustainable development.
