Makesha Jones-Chambers

Makesha Jones-Chambers, Psy.D., is an Adjunct Professor at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology's Clinical Forensic Department, teaching since 2011. She holds a doctorate in Forensic Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology (2004) and has over 20 years of experience in mental health. Currently, she works as a Program Manager at the LA County Department of Mental Health, focusing on children's mental health clinics, with 17 years of service in roles addressing sexually exploited youth and LGBTQ+ youth. Her research interests span forensic psychology, clinical interventions for vulnerable populations, and programmatic approaches to mental health equity.
