Majid Mahzoon

Dr. Majid Mahzoon is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Central Florida's College of Business. His research bridges economics, information theory, and distributed systems.

Research interests include:

• Network economics and information flow
• Bayesian persuasion in hierarchical organizations
• Performance indicator selection in incentive systems
• Energy-efficient distributed algorithms
• Quantum cryptography and information limits

Recent publications examine pay-for-performance metric selection and vice presidents' role in Bayesian persuasion models. Earlier foundational work developed distributed learning algorithms and quantum key distribution bounds.
