Majella Sweeney

Majella Sweeney is a Senior Lecturer in Management at Queen Margaret Business School, specializing in hospitality and tourism education. A Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, she teaches across undergraduate and postgraduate programs and coordinates widening access initiatives including Scotland's first Hospitality and Tourism Academy and the Lothian Equal Access Programme for Schools.

She serves as external examiner for Cardiff Metropolitan University, Varna University of Management (Bulgaria), and the University of Ulster. Her professional activities include executive board membership for the Council of Hospitality Management Education and international knowledge exchange, including delivering masterclasses in Trinidad and Tobago.
