Majdi N. Al-Hasan

Majdi N. Al-Hasan is a Clinical Professor of Medicine, Chief of the Infectious Diseases Division, and Vice Chair of Medical Specialties and Research in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. He also serves as Director of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Center of Excellence at Prisma Health-Midlands.

He has secured extramural funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other state/federal agencies as principal or co-investigator. Dr. Al-Hasan serves on editorial boards and reviews for journals in infectious diseases, internal medicine, and clinical microbiology.
