Maja Stanković

Professor Maja Stanković is a full-time faculty member at the Faculty of Media and Communications (FMK) of Singidunum University, Serbia. Holding a PhD in Contemporary Art History (2013) from the University of Belgrade's Faculty of Philosophy, she has taught courses such as Introduction to the General History of Art, Postmodern Art, and Contextual Art Practices since 2011.

Her research focuses on art historical frameworks and critical analysis of contemporary practices, particularly in video art and biopolitical art theory. She co-authored anthologies on contemporary art and authored the book Fluid Context, examining contextual practices in 21st-century art.
