Maja Pulic is a Lecturer in Marketing at the University of Essex, jointly appointed between Essex Business School and Essex Pathways. She teaches marketing management, consumer behavior, and research methods, employing inclusive pedagogies focused on experiential learning. Her PhD from the University of Birmingham examined territorial consumption in post-conflict cities.
Research focuses on:
- Critical marketing approaches to place branding
- Qualitative methodologies for vulnerable groups
- Post-conflict reconciliation processes
- Intersection of marketing and disrupted societies
Publications analyze identity politics in Western Balkans, reconciliation barriers, and pedagogical innovation. She has collaborated with UNDP and NATO on intervention methodologies and contributes to EU-funded projects on democratization.
Awards include University of Essex Excellent Educator Award (2023) and Horizon Award (2021). Current roles include Department Disability Liaison Officer and Coordinator for EBS-Econ Pathways.
