Maike Rönnau-Böse

Prof. Dr. Maike Rönnau-Böse serves as Professor for Childhood Education at the Protestant University of Applied Sciences Freiburg, holding multiple leadership roles including Vice Dean of the Department of Education and Supervision, Head of the Bachelor's program in Childhood Education, and Co-Director of the Center for Child and Youth Research (ZfKJ). She is additionally a member of the BW-CAR Doctoral Center for Universities of Applied Sciences in Baden-Württemberg.

Her research centers on foundational aspects of child development with emphasis on building resilience, promoting health, implementing play therapy interventions, and fostering effective parent-educator partnerships. These interconnected domains address critical needs in early childhood education through applied research at the Center for Child and Youth Research (ZfKJ), which bridges academic inquiry with practical implementation in educational settings.
