Mai Morimoto

Dr Mai Morimoto is an Imperial College Research Fellow in the Department of Life Sciences at Imperial College London, affiliated with the Faculty of Natural Sciences. Her research focuses on neurosciences, vision science, cognitive sciences, animal physiology, animal behaviour, and cell/molecular biology.

• Education: PhD in Neuroscience (University of Cambridge), MSc in Cellular Neurobiology (University of Tokyo), BSc in Zoology (University of Tokyo).

Her research interests integrate neurobiological mechanisms underlying sensory processing and behavior, particularly in animal systems. She employs interdisciplinary approaches to explore cognitive and physiological systems.
