Mahyar Hadighi

Mahyar Hadighi is an Assistant Professor and Director of Historic Preservation and Design at Texas Tech University's Huckabee College of Architecture. He holds a Ph.D. in Architecture from Penn State University, a Master of Arts in Historic Preservation Planning from Cornell University, and a Master of Architecture from Azad University of Tehran, Iran. His work focuses on modernism contextualized historically and contemporaneously, particularly local adaptations of modern architecture analyzed through computational design methodologies for preservation and broader application. He leads a Master of Science program in historic preservation in El Paso, supported by local, national, and international stakeholders.
