Mahshid Delavar

Mahshid Delavar is a Lecturer in Cybersecurity at the University of Sheffield's School of Computer Science. Her research develops cryptographic solutions for long-term security in communication systems including IoT networks and vehicular ad-hoc networks. She investigates quantum technology impacts on secure computation.

Current grants include the Innovate UK-funded 'Secure Call' project (2025) for caller authentication systems. Her work addresses practical cryptographic primitives for real-world network security challenges.
