Dr Mahreen Khan is a Senior Postdoctoral Researcher and Junior Research Fellow at the University of Oxford, affiliated with the Oxford Martin School and Jesus College. Her work bridges economics and management, focusing on global inequality through labor mobility, migration, and entrepreneurship in low- and middle-income countries. She holds a Ph.D. in Management from MIT, a Master’s in Applied Economics from the Paris School of Economics, and dual undergraduate degrees from MIT in Economics and Management.

Her research explores labor market frictions, behavioral interventions, and policy impacts on disadvantaged populations, using experimental and mixed methods. A marathon enthusiast, she also practices film photography in darkrooms.
