Mahdi Farnaghi

Mahdi Farnaghi is an Assistant Professor at the University of Twente, specializing in the Department of Geo-Information Processing. His research spans Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Geospatial Analysis, with applications in Environmental Monitoring, Public Health, and Urban Mobility. He leads the NWO-NGF IntelliGeo project (2024-2025), integrating Large Language Models into GIS workflows.
