Mahantesh Hiremath

Dr. Mahantesh Hiremath is a Lecturer and Adjunct Faculty in the Civil and Mechanical Engineering Department at Santa Clara University, with over 25 years of experience in space technology and complex systems engineering. He previously held leadership roles at SC Solutions, SpinLaunch, Space Systems Loral, ARES Corporation, Northrop Grumman, and Stellar Solutions.

• Education: Ph.D. and M.S. in Structural Dynamics from The Ohio State University; Certificate in Systems Engineering from Stanford University
• Research Interests: Space systems engineering, satellite design, structural dynamics, seismic analysis, and thermal stress modeling across diverse environments.
• Publications: Recent works focus on space debris mitigation, celestial assembly automation, and mechanical engineering applications in aerospace.
