Magdalena Potoczek

Dr. Magdalena Potoczek serves as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Regional Development, University of Physical Education in Kraków since 2016, following her appointment as an academic teacher from 2014-2016. She holds a PhD in Physical Culture Sciences (2016) and a Master's degree in physiotherapy (2009), both from the University of Physical Education in Kraków.

Her research interests focus on women's health and rehabilitation, with particular expertise in pelvic floor disorders, diastasis recti, and postpartum recovery. Dr. Potoczek has developed specialized knowledge through extensive training in women's physiotherapy, including Physio Pelvica certification (PTUG and AG GGUP accreditation), Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation according to Swiss Standards, and BeBo® Women's Pelvic Floor Training. Her work bridges clinical practice and academic research in the specialized field of gynecological and obstetric physiotherapy.

Analysis of her publications reveals a consistent research trajectory focused on women's health issues across the reproductive spectrum, from pregnancy through postpartum recovery. Her work demonstrates particular attention to functional disorders, rehabilitation programming, and evidence-based physiotherapy interventions for women's specific health concerns.

Dr. Potoczek has supervised 10 master's theses and 3 bachelor's theses, demonstrating her commitment to academic mentorship. She is an active member of the Polish Urogynecological Society since 2015 and regularly participates in scientific conferences related to rehabilitation in kidney and urinary system diseases.
