Magdalena Huber

Magdalena Huber is an academic staff member in the Psychological Diagnostics & Health Psychology group at the University of Konstanz since November 2022, with prior roles as Student Assistant (April-September 2022) and Tutor for Experimental Internship (2019-2020) and Statistics 1 (2017-2018). She holds an MSc (2022) and BSc (2021) in Psychology from the same institution, focusing on social curiosity in digital groups and pandemic risk perception respectively.

She examines risk perception frameworks and social dynamics in mobility contexts, with particular emphasis on how income levels shape sustainability assessments of transportation options. Current work analyzes motives across wealth classes to identify behavioral change levers for eco-friendly mobility transitions.

Huber co-supervised two 2024 bachelor theses on wealth-mobility sustainability relationships and cross-income transportation motives with Prof. Dr. Britta Renner, demonstrating active mentorship in empirical research design and data analysis. She contributes to the "Why We Move How We Move" project at the Baden-Württemberg Institute for Sustainable Mobility (BWIM), an interdisciplinary initiative developing evidence-based strategies for mobility transition through psychological insights and behavioral interventions.
