Magdalena Cabaj

Magdalena Cabaj is an Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream at the University of Toronto's downtown St. George campus. She holds dual PhD degrees from the École Normale Supérieure – Paris Sciences & Lettres (Philosophy, 2020) and the University of Warsaw (Literature, 2020), alongside a Master of Arts in Philosophy (2015) and a combined Bachelor/Master in Polish Studies (2011), all from the University of Warsaw.

Her research focuses on Polish studies within comparative frameworks, intersections between contemporary philosophy and art, literary criticism, and aesthetics. She teaches courses such as 'Introduction to Polish Culture,' 'Film and Ethics: Polish Cinema,' and 'War and Culture,' alongside Polish language instruction at beginner and intermediate levels.
