Madeline Infantine is an Instructor in the University Writing Program at the University of Notre Dame, affiliated with the College of Arts and Letters. She also serves as an advisor for first-year students in the College of Science. She holds a B.A. in English and Theology from the University of Notre Dame, an M.F.A. in Creative Writing (Poetry) from Miami University, and an M.T.S. in Theological Studies from Boston College.
Her research interests focus on advising practices that cultivate reflection and resilience in students, the intersection of imagination and holistic student development, and innovative pedagogical methods to nurture creativity in classroom settings. She has contributed writings to publications such as Notre Dame Magazine, Church Life Journal, and Presence: A Journal of Catholic Poetry.
Infantine previously taught undergraduate composition and creative writing courses at Miami University before joining Notre Dame. She is actively involved with the Writing Center and integrates interdisciplinary approaches in her work, bridging theological studies, creative arts, and educational theory.
