MUHAMMAD NIHAL NASEER is a predoctoral researcher at CIC energiGUNE, specializing in electrochemical energy storage. He graduated with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST), Pakistan, and earned an Erasmus Mundus scholarship for his MSc in Materials for Energy Storage and Conversion (MESC+).

His research focuses on thermodynamic modeling of energy conversion systems, computational screening of battery materials via density functional theory (DFT), and synthesis/characterization of energy materials for next-generation batteries. He has collaborated with Prof. Yury Gogotsi at Drexel University on MXenes for energy storage.
