MARIO ALAGUERO RODRIGUEZ

Mario Alaguero Rodriguez is an Associate Professor at the Universidad de Burgos, affiliated with the Facultad de Humanidades y Comunicación within the Departamento de Historia, Geografía y Comunicación. His work focuses on Audiovisual Communication and Advertising, with a specialization in digital reconstruction of historical urban environments.

• PhD in Digital Humanities (Universidad de Burgos, 2023)

His research explores the intersection of cultural heritage preservation and digital technologies, particularly through 3D modeling and virtual reality applications for historical urban centers. His doctoral thesis examined detail levels in virtual reconstructions using Vitoria-Gasteiz as a case study.

As part of the CAYPAT research group (Communication, public diffusion, and publicity of culture and heritage), he collaborates on heritage communication projects. Previously contributed to the CADETE group focused on audiovisual media and economic development.
