MARIA TERESA FLORES ARIAS

Maria Teresa Flores Arias is a Professor in the Department of Applied Physics at the University of Santiago de Compostela. She belongs to the Faculty of Physics and is affiliated with the Materials Institute (iMATUS) and the Strategic Grouping in Materials (AEMAT). Her research focuses on Optics, particularly in photonics applications for life sciences through the P4Life Photonics4Life research group. She obtained her doctorate in 2001 with a thesis titled Whole and fractional Talbot effect in GRIN media with transverse and axial variation of the refractive index, supervised by Dr. Carlos Gómez-Reino and Dr. María Victoria Pérez Martín.
