MARIA DEL ROSARIO RODIL RODRIGUEZ

Maria Del Rosario Rodil Rodriguez is an Associate Professor at the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC), affiliated with the Faculty of Chemistry and Department of Analytical Chemistry, Nutrition and Bromatology. She coordinates the ChromChem research group at the Institute for Aquatic Research for Global Health (iARCUS), focusing on environmental contaminants and human exposure pathways.

Her research integrates analytical chemistry, environmental science, and public health through:

• Development of high-throughput methods for contaminant detection
• Wastewater-based epidemiology for population exposure assessment
• Bioaccessibility studies of microplastics and plasticizers
