MARIA DEL CAMINO ESCOLAR LLAMAZARES

Maria del Camino Escolar Llamazares serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Sciences at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Universidad de Burgos, where she contributes to the PhD program in Health Sciences (Ciencias de la Salud).

She earned her Doctorate from the University of Salamanca in 2007 with a thesis on differential efficacy of coping strategies for reducing exam anxiety, supervised by Dr. Isabel Serrano Pintado. Her academic foundation combines psychological theory with empirical research methodologies.

Her research centers on Psychological Assessment and Personality Psychology, with specialized applications in Health Psychology and Anxiety Disorders. She integrates quantitative Data Analysis in Health environments, particularly through her work with the DATAHES research group, while maintaining strong connections to Educational Psychology contexts.

Currently active in the DATAHES research group (Data Analysis Techniques Applied in Health Environments Sciences), she previously contributed to FORMADESA, which focused on socio-educational policies for lifelong learning, elderly autonomy promotion, and e-learning support systems.
