M. Libby Weaver

M. Libby Weaver, MD, MHPE, serves as Assistant Professor (Clinical) in the Department of Surgery at the University of Utah School of Medicine, specializing in vascular surgery across multiple clinical sites including University Hospital, Huntsman Cancer Institute, and Primary Children's Hospital. Board-certified in both General and Vascular Surgery, she provides comprehensive care for arterial, venous, and lymphatic diseases with advanced expertise in peripheral artery disease, hemodialysis access, and limb salvage procedures.

Her educational foundation includes dual undergraduate degrees in General Science (Middle Tennessee State University) and Economics with Music minor (Wittenberg University), followed by MD training at University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She completed General Surgery residency and internship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, vascular surgery fellowship at University of Florida College of Medicine, and Health Professions Education fellowship (MHPE) at University of Illinois Chicago.
