Lyric Lekander

Lyric Lekander, MT-BC, serves as a Clinical Practicum Supervisor for music therapy students at Wartburg College.

Education:

• Bachelor of Music Education with Music Therapy, Wartburg College (2020)

Clinical Expertise:

• Older adult care, particularly in hospice and memory care settings
• Veterans health
• Adolescent and adult mental health
• Traumatic brain injury recovery
• IEP (Individualized Education Program) support
• Adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)
• Adaptive music lessons and ensembles

Ms. Lekander completed her internship at West Music in Coralville, Iowa, and applies her extensive clinical experience to supervise and mentor music therapy students during their practicum hours.
