Dr. Lynne Lohfeld is a Senior Lecturer at Queen's University Belfast's School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences, affiliated with the Centre for Public Health. Her research focuses on improving healthcare outcomes for vulnerable populations in low-resource settings through mixed-methods and qualitative approaches. Key areas include cancer care (breast/children's cancers), palliative care, blindness prevention, and non-communicable diseases such as diabetes and osteoporosis. She has conducted fieldwork in Africa, Asia, Canada, and Northern Ireland, emphasizing global health equity and evidence-based policy.
