Lynn V. Doering is Professor and Associate Dean for Academic and Student Affairs at UCLA School of Nursing. She holds a DNSc from UCLA, MSN in Cardiopulmonary Nursing, BSN from California State University, and BA in English Literature from Stanford University.
Her research program investigates physiological and psychosocial adaptation in high-risk cardiac patients, focusing on depression, immune dysfunction, and cognitive behavioral therapy interventions. Current research examines inflammatory biomarkers in coronary artery bypass graft patients and depression treatment outcomes.
