Lynn Levy

Dr. Lynn Levy is an Associate Clinical Professor at Yeshiva University's Wurzweiler School of Social Work since 2006. She holds a BA from Hofstra University, a Certificate and MSW from Wurzweiler (1998), and a PhD from Wurzweiler (2012). Her roles include sequence chair for Philosophical Foundations of Social Work and co-chair for Generalist Practice courses. She pioneered programs like the Peer Mentoring Program and Writing Support Services, and serves on key committees including Curriculum, Admissions, Governance, and Doctoral committees.

Research focuses on spirituality in social work practice, psychological healing from trauma, and trends in Jewish volunteerism. She co-authored The Resilient Couple: Navigating Together Through Life with her husband. Active in professional service, she represents Wurzweiler on the Faculty Council and Executive Committee.

Teaching spans Masters, Doctoral, Online, and Rabbinic Certificate programs, including courses on disability work, Jewish family dynamics, and ethical practice.
