Lynn Kelso serves as an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the Department of Theatre at Northwestern University's School of Communication, where she acts as Artistic Director of Imagine U (the Wirtz Center family series) and academic advisor for all undergraduate theatre majors.
Her educational background includes:
- MFA in Directing from Northwestern University
- MA from the University of Michigan
- BA from Purdue University
Specializing in Storytelling and Theatre for Young Audiences, Professor Kelso founded Imagine U and conducts workshops while directing productions at local schools. Her current initiative partners with Evanston/Skokie School District 65 to bring 850 third graders to campus for theatrical performances and campus experiences.
