Lynn Hancock

Dr. Lynn Hancock is a Senior Lecturer in Sociology (Criminology) at the University of Liverpool, affiliated with the School of Law and Social Justice within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. She holds a BA (Hons) and PhD. Her research focuses on criminological theory, urban policy, social welfare, and civic engagement in marginalized communities. She teaches modules such as Community and Public Involvement in Crime and Criminal Justice and Controlling Crime - An Introduction. Her work examines topics like fear of crime, territorial stigmatization, and the intersection of criminal justice systems with citizenship.
