Lynette DeBellis is an Associate Professor of Nursing and Chair of the School of Nursing at Mount Saint Mary College. She holds a BSN from MSMC, an MA from Teachers College Columbia University, and an EdD from Nebraska Methodist College. Her research focuses on Medical Surgical Nursing, Critical Care Nursing, Cardiothoracic Nursing, and Nursing Education with emphases on curriculum development and test construction.
Dr. DeBellis has received numerous accolades including the SUNY Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Teaching, Daisy Award, and recognition as one of the Top 20 Nurses in the Hudson Valley. She serves as President of the Mu Epsilon Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau and holds leadership roles in nursing organizations like the Academy of Med-Surg Nurses and National League for Nurses.
