Lynetta Mier

Lynetta Mier is an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Regis University, where she serves as Interim Associate Dean and Associate Director. She earned her PhD in Physical Chemistry from The Ohio State University and completed postdoctoral work at Boston University.

• Research: Investigates cell death mechanisms via photodynamic cancer therapy drugs using spectroscopy and chromatography; develops physical and analytical chemistry curricula; studies solvent dynamics in supercritical fluids with ultrafast rotational Raman spectroscopy.
• Awards: Recognized with multiple teaching and mentorship awards for her work in inclusive undergraduate education.
