Lydie Surget

Lydie Surget is an Adjunct Instructor of French at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNC Charlotte), where she teaches French language and culture. She has held roles such as President of the Alliance Française de Charlotte since 2018 and served as a Sciences teacher at the International French School in Singapore. Her professional experience includes project leadership in the Perfume and Cosmetics industries in France and the U.S. She holds a Master's degree in Chemistry from the University of Haute-Alsace, France; a Master's in Chemical Engineering from ENSCMu (Superior National School of Chemistry in Mulhouse, France); and an MBA from Belmont University's Massey Graduate School of Business (partially completed).

Her passions revolve around promoting French language and culture, education, and cross-cultural exchange. She actively engages in swimming, sailing, and traveling to explore diverse cultures.
