Lundy R Langston

Lundy R Langston is a Professor of Law at Florida A&M University College of Law, where she has served since 2002 as an inaugural faculty member. She previously held faculty positions at Nova Southeastern University, University of Tulsa College of Law, and North Carolina Central University. She served as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at FAMU from 2007 to 2008.

Professor Langston's research and teaching focus on key areas of legal and social justice, including Criminal Law, Family Law, Domestic Violence, Human Trafficking, Torts, Women and the Law, Juvenile Law, International Law (particularly the International Criminal Court), Criminal Procedure, and Feminist Jurisprudence. Her interdisciplinary scholarship addresses systemic issues in law and society, especially as they affect vulnerable populations.

She has co-authored a torts casebook and published multiple law review articles, with her work presented at leading institutions such as Columbia, Michigan, Duke, and Howard Law Schools. Her scholarship reflects a strong commitment to human rights and legal education reform.
