Dr Luke Jefferies is a Lecturer in Psychology at Swansea University’s School of Psychology, part of the Joint Faculty of Medicine, Health and Life Science. He specializes in student mental health, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), environmental psychology, and applied cognitive psychology. His research focuses on academic integrity challenges, ecotherapy’s role in wellbeing, and transformative health models.
He teaches modules on clinical psychology, therapeutic approaches, and research methodologies, including formulation of psychological disorders and ethical research practices. Supervision includes guiding PhD students examining ecotherapy’s impact on personal and planetary wellbeing.
Recent publications explore student demographic influences on academic integrity and ecotherapy’s potential in health and social care. He is based at the Vivian Building, Singleton Campus, and available for postgraduate supervision.
