Dr. Luke Davies is a research track Lecturer in Myeloid Immunometabolism at the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Life Science, Swansea University. He also serves as the Lead for Swansea/West Wales within the Wales Kidney Research Unit (WKRU), overseeing the integration of renal clinical datasets into SAIL and providing leadership for WKRU's west Wales branch.
Dr. Davies specializes in biochemistry, molecular biology, and genetics, with a focus on myeloid immunometabolism. His work involves collaboration with The Farr Institute/CIPHER and management of the WKRU research analyst embedded in The School of Social Sciences, Bangor University.
As a senior management team member of WKRU, Dr. Davies contributes to the strategic goals of patient-led and patient-directed research while maintaining active roles in clinical dataset integration and cross-site research coordination.
