Lukas Hofmann

Lukas Hofmann is a Lecturer and Artistic Associate at HTW Berlin's Department of Design and Culture, contributing to both teaching and research since 2022. He holds an MA in Product Design from Berlin-Weißensee School of Art (2014) and has professional experience spanning furniture design, exhibition design, and UX design.

His research expertise includes:

• Systemic Design in sustainability contexts
• Digital model making and design communication
• Technical and production design methodologies
• Reflective conception approaches

Hofmann teaches core design courses including Modeling Fundamentals, Material/Sustainability (Planet Centered Design), and Technical Design. His industry collaborations include projects with Audi Electronics Venture GmbH and IDZ Berlin.
