Prof. Luisa Menapace is a full Professor of Governance in International Agribusiness at the TUM School of Management (Technische Universität München). Her academic journey includes a Laurea in Agricultural Sciences (University of Padua, Italy), a Master's in Agribusiness (Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, Italy), and a PhD in Economics (Iowa State University, USA). She held postdoctoral roles as a Marie Curie Fellow at the University of Trento (2010-2012) and an Academic Councilor at the University of Bonn (2012-2013) before joining TUM in 2013.
Her research focuses on agribusiness governance, consumer behavior in food markets, and institutional aspects of sustainability. Key themes include geographical indications (GIs), risk perception in agricultural decision-making, and the interplay between economic policies and ecological outcomes. She employs experimental and behavioral economics methodologies to analyze supply chain coordination, unfair trading practices, and market dynamics.
