Luis Miletti is a Lecturer in the Department of Spanish Philology at the School of Foreign Languages, Vistula University. He earned his PhD in Romance Languages and Literature from the University of Cincinnati in 2005 and has held academic positions at multiple U.S. institutions, including Morehouse College, Georgia State University, University of North Georgia, and Clark Atlanta University. Miletti has also worked as a guest lecturer at the University of Concepción in Chile and served as Dean of the Intercultural Studies Department at Clark Atlanta University from 2014 to 2015.

Miletti's research and teaching focus on power dynamics in Latin American and Caribbean literature, Afro-Latin American literature, national identity formation, the colonization of the female body in literary works, and the golden age of Spanish theatre. His scholarly contributions include founding the journal Negritud: Journal of Afro-Latin American Studies and organizing four international conferences between 2009 and 2014.
In addition to his academic work, Miletti is a writer with a published collection of short stories in Puerto Rico and Ecuador. He has completed a play and another collection of short stories awaiting publication.
