Luigi Tronca

Luigi Tronca is a Full Professor of General Sociology at the Department of Human Sciences, University of Verona. His research and teaching focus on Social Network Analysis, Social Capital, and Sociology of Consumption, with applications in governance models and third sector studies. He has been involved in interdisciplinary projects like “School and Social Cohesion in Italy” and methodologies for Human Sciences research.

His empirical work spans social capital as a resource for care practices, household consumption monitoring, and community reorganization in emergencies. He leads the Household Consumption Monitoring Centre and contributes to the QA Management Group at the university.
