Luigi Alberto Franzoni is a Full Professor of Public Finance at the University of Bologna's Department of Economic Sciences. He specializes in the economic analysis of law, with a focus on intellectual property, tort law, and public economics. He co-authored the seminal Italian textbook on law and economics and currently co-directs the European Doctorate in Law and Economics program involving institutions in Bologna, Hamburg, Rotterdam, and Rennes.
