Ludovic CHAMOIN

Ludovic CHAMOIN is a Professor at ENS Paris-Saclay's Laboratory of Paris-Saclay Mechanics (LMPS), leading the international research team 'Science and Advanced Techniques in Numerical Mechanics' since 2021. He directs the ERC DREAM-ON project (2021-2026) and the DESCARTES project (CNRS@CREATE, 2021-2026), while serving on the Scientific Council of ENS Paris-Saclay and the SMEMAG Doctoral School Board.

• Research Focus: Adaptive numerical simulations, guaranteed error estimation, model reduction techniques, multi-scale coupling, and physics-driven data assimilation.
• Technical Expertise: Non-intrusive error estimation, real-time validation, hybrid twin models, and robust sensor placement.
