Lucy Redhead

Lucy Redhead is a Principal Lecturer at the School of Education, Sport and Health, affiliated with the Centre for Regenerative Medicine and Devices at the University of Brighton. Her research focuses on biomaterials, wound healing, and musculoskeletal disorders, with a particular emphasis on medical device interfaces and biomechanics.

Her recent publications examine wound dressings under varying glycemic conditions, theranostic biomaterials for healing prognosis, and biomechanical impacts of smartphone use. Collaborations include work with researchers on projects like the biomimetic macromolecular platform for tissue healing and diagnostics (2022-2028).
