Lucy Jackson

Lucy Jackson is a Brooklyn-based independent performing arts producer and Lecturer at The New School's College of Performing Arts. She teaches Performance Production MGMT (CENT 5700) and focuses on supporting playwrights and multidisciplinary artists in developing, producing, and touring new work. Her roles include Interim Producing Director at the Bushwick Starr and past positions such as Development Director for the New Ohio Theatre and General Manager/Touring Producer for the TEAM.

Her career spans venues like NYTW Next Door, BAM Fisher, and international festivals including Edinburgh Fringe and Melbourne Fringe. She is a recipient of the 2018-2020 WP Lab Fellowship, recognizing her contributions to innovative performance production. Lucy’s work emphasizes cross-disciplinary collaboration and bridging classical training with real-world creative opportunities.

She has produced national/international tours to institutions like UMS Ann Arbor, On the Boards (Seattle), and Fusebox Festival (Austin). Her expertise integrates rigorous arts management with socially conscious creative experimentation.
