Lucy Cotter, LMFT, is an Adjunct Professor at Antioch University Los Angeles and co-founder of the Narrative Counseling Center. With a dual background in clinical psychology and fine arts, she integrates creative practices into therapeutic and educational contexts.

Her courses include Brief Therapy, Introduction to Narrative Therapy, Critical Psychology, Postmodern Psychotherapies, and The Psychology of Couples in Fiction and Film. Her work emphasizes client agency, collaboration, and resource-oriented approaches to mental health.
At the Narrative Counseling Center, she provides individual, couple, family, and LGBTQ+ therapy, focusing on unpacking oppressive narratives and fostering client-defined solutions. Her artistic experience as a painter, writer, and collage artist deeply informs her therapeutic and pedagogical methods.
