Lucio Barile is an Adjunct Professor at the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences, Università della Svizzera italiana (USI), and Group Leader of the Laboratory for Cardiovascular Theranostics at Istituto Cardiocentro Ticino in Lugano, Switzerland. His research focuses on cardiovascular disease mechanisms, cell-free therapies, and extracellular vesicles (exosomes) derived from cardiac progenitor cells (CPC).
