Lucia Morbidelli

Lucia Morbidelli is a Professor at the Department of Life Sciences, University of Siena, with over 150 international publications. Her research focuses on molecular angiogenesis mechanisms and their therapeutic applications in cardiovascular, ocular, and neoplastic diseases, alongside pharmacological characterization of novel molecules and biomaterials for regenerative medicine.

Her recent work explores:

• Nitric oxide derivatives in cancer therapy
• Space mission cardiovascular challenges
• PROTAC technology for fibrosis reversal
• Mechanisms of melanoma drug resistance
• Natural antioxidants for skin protection

These span pharmacology, molecular biology, and nanotechnology intersections.
