Lucas Simmons

Lucas Simmons is a Part-Time Lecturer in Art at Oklahoma Baptist University (OBU), focusing on traditional technical skills and fostering sustainable studio practices. His work interrogates relationships between humanity, nature, and technology, particularly through the lens of faith-based stewardship of the environment.

Research interests center on ecological narratives and spiritual engagement with environmental themes, blending figurative painting with multidisciplinary design principles. His artistic practice emphasizes contemplative exploration of humanity's role within natural and technological systems.
