Lucas K. Mentch

Lucas K. Mentch is an Associate Professor in the Department of Statistics at the University of Pittsburgh's Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences. His research bridges statistical inference and machine learning, with applications spanning ecology, medicine, sports analytics, law, policing, and forensic science. He has published extensively on topics such as random forests, variable importance, and the Rashomon effect in model selection.
