Luca Tiberi

Luca Tiberi is an Associate Professor at the Department of Cellular, Computational and Integrative Biology (CIBIO) at the University of Trento. His research focuses on cancer biology, particularly pediatric brain tumors like medulloblastoma and glioma. He specializes in developing organoid models and genetic tools to study tumor heterogeneity and therapeutic responses. Tiberi teaches courses such as Biology applied to Biotechnology and Cancer Therapy, emphasizing stem cell biology and translational oncology.

His research integrates molecular biology, genomics, and cell culture techniques to investigate cancer stem cells, hypoxia-driven adaptations, and drug vulnerabilities.
